Quality · Lisburn

Quality, stated plainly

One certification we hold, several standards we build to, and an evidence trail for every assembly that leaves the floor. Set out here in full, because the buyers who ask this question deserve a straight answer rather than a wall of logos.

What we hold

ISO 9001 Quality management system

Independently audited and certified. In practice it means documented, repeatable processes, a quality system subject to external audit, continual improvement that is measured rather than asserted, and traceability end to end. It is the system that underpins everything else on this page.

  • Documented, repeatable processes
  • Externally audited quality management system
  • Continual improvement, measured
  • Traceability from goods-in to despatch

What we build to

IPC-A-610
Acceptability of electronic assemblies. Workmanship is judged against the IPC-A-610 criteria rather than against opinion.
UL standards
Assemblies manufactured to UL specification where a programme calls for it. A specification we build to — Power Action does not hold a UL listing, and does not claim one.
RoHS & REACH
Lead-free processing throughout, with declared material compliance down the supply chain.
Conflict-minerals reporting
Responsible sourcing, declared and traceable through our supply chain.
Customer-flowed-down requirements
On high-reliability programmes we build to the customer's own qualified specification — flowed down, evidenced and audited per contract.

How a claim becomes evidence

Inspection
5-axis real-time X-ray on 100% of BGAs — every ball array imaged, not a sampled subset — backed by multiple standalone AOI stations.
Test
In-circuit and functional test before despatch. You receive verified working hardware, not populated boards.
Materials
Temperature- and humidity-controlled storage, MSD dry storage, bake-out and floor-life tracking, ESD-controlled throughout.
Traceability
A single traceable path from component reel to delivered unit, retained so a board can still be accounted for years into its service life.
Documentation
Per-build evidence packs where a programme requires them. Certificates and detailed quality documentation available on request.

What we do not hold

We are not AS9100, Nadcap or JOSCAR registered, and we do not hold ISO 13485, ISO 14001 or ISO 27001. If your programme requires an accreditation we do not have, we will tell you at the first conversation rather than the last. Where we can meet a requirement through flowed-down customer specification and evidence instead, we will say exactly how.

Tell us what you're building.

You'll get honest engineering input and a clear route to production. Your design and IP stay confidential — we'll put an NDA in place before you share anything. We reply within one working day.
