Scope of Operations

Power Action Ltd is a full-service contract manufacturer, serving a diverse group of customers including electronic manufacturers of medical, instrumentation, military electronics, and commercial products.

Products manufactured run from individual printed circuit boards to completely assembled and tested systems. We service a niche market of small - prototype to medium ( batch size 2000 ) volume runs, for products which need high levels of technical competence or have high percentages of automated components.

Efficient turnaround of these kinds of product mixes has created both flexibility in production and a reputation for high quality that customers appreciate and expect.

Traceability

Tracaebility is the bottom line for competent management and sustainability of high quality standards of manufacture. We use a barcode system of product management which goes way beyond the normal logging of location of product and even fault reporting.

Because we take a total systems approach to manufacture we have developed a specialised traceability system which records in depth information on product, process, manpower and components to enable the continuous fine tuning of the manufacturing process used.

ISO 9000:2000

ISO 9000:2000 requirements govern nearly all functions at Power Action Ltd including the following important factors along with many others: quality assurance, material procurement, employee training, production documentation, test records, and handling of discrepant material. We have found that ISO 9000:2000 is more than a requirement, it causes good business practices.
